Quick front brake job (pad swap) on a 1999 Toyota Camry. The gritty work of the Disscombobulated Mechanic. In the shade tree mechanic tradition, it's 16 tons of old school auto repair and twang! Hi everyone, this video was really supposed to be just for fun and a chance for me to work on some editing and stuff while fixing the car. I'm not sure why but some people just hate it, some people seem to like it. One of these days I may make another one. This is just a sort of poorly done spoof that is somewhat informational. I really just posted it because I thought it was entertaining. There are lots of boring informational properly done video's for those of you who are looking for a serious video. I actually sorry it was so badly received buy some viewers. I have actually gotten hate mail. Go figure.

Why do car mechanics want to rape everybody at their shops, if they had charged me 250 or 275, I would have paid for it, but now for 69.00 bucks I fixed it myself and they gat nothing. Any mechanics out there, most of you, are THIEVES!!

I find that CRC brake quiet works very well to stop the brake noise. Just apply it before you put your brakes and it will last until your next brake change.

I think he did a great job, he even followed a star pattern on thetire, good video. All you need is a good C clamp, even a crappy C clamp would work.

only mistakes i saw was no jack stand and didn't support the caliper when it was off. kills the brake lines.
