The Philippines media is a joke. They're constantly in the way of authorities and all they do are fluff pieces and air exploitative death videos. There are so many good corruption stories just waiting to be uncovered, not to mention the dozens of common knowledge stories of graft and ridiculousness that you never will see aired out of fear and corruption in the media itself.

@allthegreat17 agree! its also the fault of the media. the Stereotypical shows and teleseryes conditioning the mind of the naive Filipinos to think that life is a fairy tale, that being poor is only the fault of the government. That you are cool when you make fun of yourself on cameras.. Profit oriented companies like abs cbn and GMA.
