Love the fire pole! Our last station with a pole was closed about 10 years ago due to population growth and new stations being built. The building still exists and the pole is still there (it's now a store). You know you're getting old when....LOL ;)

FDNY, they have the nicest rigs. our engines are HME.

just wouldnt think unless the ems call was a pshych trying to lite himself on fire or use a flamethrower to wear turnouts.. oh wait. fdny doesnt keep thier turnouts on thier rigs huh? nm
