She wasn't reading from her hand you morons, she forgot to wash her hands after going to the toilet. There was no toilet paper available so she had to use her hand which is understandable. She noticed there were some brown stains on her finger tips so she was contemplating to either shake hands with the host or wipe them on the arms of the chair !! That was plain and simple, this is what any right wing conservative would do given the situation. I rest my case !!

True, its unreasonably to expect anyone to memorize an entire speech. Which is why Palin read hers off of paper at the podium, although if she had used a teleprompter she wouldn't have had to look down all the time.
But it is more than reasonable for any conservative to remember to talk about "tax cuts" in response to softball questions that they received ahead of time. That is, without a hand-note reminding them
