Always one of my favourites. There's a band in a bar in Cowboy, Bangkok, Thailand who will play a very creditable version of this tune for a few baht. And the beer isn't bad either.
The street Cowboy came about entertaining the poor young grunts who flocked there for a few hours R&R from the horrors of Vietnam. Just thought you'd like to know that.

Just ignore todays "music". And listen to real music. We can do that, we don't have to listen to justin bieber even if he is an active artist, but there's no escape from all the "music" on the radios, or cinemas, or whatever. I have tried to find something thats not produced today on my radio, but Sweden only have crap radio-channels.
I know that this was not related to your comment, but that's how i think about todays "music".
It's not music today, it's media, money, looks etc...

Can you all see the Bad Moon Rising? Here it comes, and thank God for great music, puts the shit into perspective. My moto, Come on in, in peace, grab a seat and have some chow. Come for me and my shit though and it's lead down range and on target, done and dusted. We all get along just fine individually. But oh no, put these elitist in charge of countries and now we fight on their behalf? No my friend, fact is, there's just to many of us awake and we won't tolerate your shit. Amen.

Although this song is very simple, as you say, it's such a wonderful song. Nevertheless, music evolves, and nowadays there's nice music with special effects too, just like there's bad simple music.
