Opel Insignia Sport Tourer E

Opel's Insignia isn't just a great car, it's also a fine looker, particularly in estate form. The new version goes on sale this spring badged "Sport Tourer" and while the boot is no bigger than the saloon's at 540 litres, when the rear seats are folded flat that increases to 1,510 roomy, but not vast. Two new engines are offered in addition to the five already in the hatchback and saloon, including a new 1.6-litre turbo and an EcoFlex diesel with CO2 emissions below 140g/km.
