She sounds like more of a laugh before she became 'open about her faith'.

it's mainly in australia and the uk
not so much america

@Henshrow I know they don't, I have a lot of american friends, they do not talk like that xD they talk normal, or try and have a go at an English accent and sound like Vicky Pollard from little Britain. :) I have a lot of respect for my American mates :)
-
@TheEquestrianWoman Yeah I am as well, its just stereotypical. The same way we think that all americans talk like "So yeah, duh, I know right!, Totally, Dude" when they dont haha.
-
@Henshrow I am from England, and by golly I do not sound like that :) This is more the posh, christian side.
-
@DidYouEatMyMonkey Everyone has accents, so it's just the actor they've emloyed :)

It sounds as if the people "judging you for your faith" weren't really doing anything to the point that you had to hide it. People generally tend not to take the piss out of you because of your religion because all the hype aboutbeing PC
What's wrong with people asking you questions about your faith anyway? Surely you should be happy to tell people about something you've based your entire life around
