Explanation of our nifty new map, a return trip back to town, I say "essentially" and "pretty much" a bunch more times, and then we move on to the next Clan Area to get another key piece.

  • The thief area is also probabaly the most lucrative farming areas in the game-

they drop a couple gold pieces as well as a dagger or two which is just under a gold piece in trade in value.

Once you learn how to make minions, you can find out where the thief spawns at and fill the surrounding squares with minions. Go away for a while (like 10-20 minutes or so) and do other stuff.. then come back and pick up the heaps of loot lying around where he spawns.

  • allright thieves are more annoying than just being able to steal... what makes them so annoying is that they are free to move from one area to another- the tree arches do not stop them, nor do closed gates (theres a reason that keys are used).

Which is why if you don't wan to deal with them more or less constantly is to lock gates behind you.

Also once you get far enough theres a back door route to the rhinos that allow you to bypass one or two gates that thieves dont seem to use.

  • Follow him into his little "hidy hole" hahahhahahahahahahh

  • I love these old games. I remember spending entire days sitting in front of the television playing stuff like this. These "vintage" games required a lot of both patience and reasoning. With new games I get frustrated pretty easily; it takes a whole day just to learn the function of all the buttons and settings!

  • Another way I think works regarding selling items ...you can sell a crap-load of items is place them on the purchase table to trade but have the purchase item listed as one that is no longer in stock...Then change it to one that it, and you will get the trade.

  • @LuminarNightblade: aah, the Sega Mega Drive... Long time ago, nevertheless a great system.

Was Dungeon Master 2 an original Sega game?

    Quite interesting.

  • @VelvetViolator

Mega CD, aka Sega CD. And I don't know, just a quirk of that paticular port I guess.

  • @LuminarNightblade: oh that´s a shame! :-)

What exactly is the "Mega Version" and why is there no sound

    for some effects?

  • @VelvetViolator

Nothing, he just grabs at you with the generic "whoosh" noise.

  • @LuminarNightblade: what does he shout in the "Mega" version?

  • this game's amazing. im glad you showed it to me.
