Why the hell is this such a big deal? Big whoop. There's other issues going on in the world and everyone is making a spectacle out of some guy not shaking another guy's hand? Wow...the mentality in this world is decreasing bit by bit

@raran44 I never said they were in their prime. I said Carey Price is. I never said Gus or Reims were in their prime.

@17griffe if they're "both in their prime" then why is Price the one constantly making all star appearaces? So he has a few seasons on Reimer and Gustavsson? My point is, every Leafs fan praises their goalies as though their God, yet their rival goalie has more to say for himself.

@doovchan well Toronto and Ottawa are the "Battle Of Ontario", yes a big rivalry. I don't think Montreal and Ottawa are rivals. This is what I suspected before i commented. We're both thinking along the same lines here.

I think that Joffrey Lupul was the one who dropped the ball on this one. He was the first to meet Carey as he came out and was the first to shake his hand. He should have presented him to Chara as they were walking over to Chara's area and there wouldn't have been a problem. In any case, the whole thing was funny. LOL

@raran44 What are you trying to say here? Toronto and Ottawa have a pretty awesome rivalry. Montreal is down the road from Ottawa, there was probably a good amount of habs fans in attendence.

@raran44 Carey Price is in his 5th season. Reimer hasn't even played a full season, and Gustavsson being plagued with health issues. Carey Price is also in his prime, both of those goalies are just starting out their careers.

I think he genuinely didn't see him. Chara was at the podium when Price was about to go up the stairs. When Chara realized Price was there, he went up to him but Price had already turned his back so he definitely couldn't see that Chara was waiting to shake his hand.
