Would you say the S1 is the model in between the A1 and F1? In terms of size, style, and purpose of use/capabilities?

Get a F1 or a S1, you will not regret it.
I had my F1 in use for 15years and still going strong.
The Swedes know how to make knifes...

Whoops, your video answered my question! Which of the three do you like best, if I may ask?

@m16mang Hi I think it comes down to personal preference, its very difficult to pick one of these, they are all excellent in their own right. I guess compact knife would be a F1, mid size, good as an all rounder, the S1 and larger, more inertia, the A1.

What a decision....Honestly I like them both, I guess if you like a larger knife with a bit more weight the S1 would be the way to go, but if you want compact and weights an issue, then the F1. The blade shape of the F1 probably makes that slightly better as a hunting knife, but its marginal.

Hi paul,
Would u recommend the fallkniven s1 or the a1?

Difficult choice. Both are good allrounders, I guess it comes down to if you want the extra weight/length of the A1 (better chopping etc) or the more compact S1(better fine work). In reality both are top knives and both would do the job of an outdoor knife equally well.
