Did you ever found out what was causing the noise?

i couldn't hear it in the video but from your description it sounds like just surge. check your blow-off valve asap and take it easy(don't rev high and ease off the throttle) until its fixed. you'll burn up some bearings or a throttle plate in a heartbeat.

Yeah, but even at low RPM's (about 2000) it is very noticeable compared to just the day before. Plus, I was only revving that high as I had nothing to really shift with as I was holding the camera in my right hand.
