Cat Turns Treat Monster

http://ThisOneWildLife.com - When our 6-month-old kitten - an otherwise loving and affectionate bundle of fur - discovered a bag of cat treats in the cupboard, he turned into a possessive treat MONSTER as I tried to reason with him that cats get ONE treat, not 200.

Not to worry, all you armchair behaviorists, he grew up to be an affectionate, well-adjusted and behaved cat. This little game of tug-o-war didn't ruin him as some might have guessed.

This little guy was merely 6 months old when this video was shot. The issue wasn't meanness. Jed had Pica due to premature birth and ate everything in sight. He outgrew the Pica long ago with nutritional supplements. Now three, Jed is - and always has been - the most snuggly love of our household and our vets can't get enough of him. He still cuddles with his brother for nightly baths and rubs all over the dogs as if they were mom.

The music is called Danza Del Amor from the album Salsa Picante by composer Mark John Petrie.

This video was shot with a Canon camcorder. I don't remember the model as we now have the Canon Vixia HF S21 - which is even better.

tl; dw. Ok, lemme tell you a joke.

When Mommy left she said to her son Little Peter: "Be a good boy while I'm away. And, most importantly, don't drink the milk in the fridge!"

As soon as she left the house, Littel Peter rushed to the fridge and avidly drank all the milk.

The first thing Mommy did when she returned was looking after the milk in the fridge - to her horror, it was all gone.

"Little Peter!" she said sharply "Did you drink all the milk while I was away?!"

"No" said Little Peter.

It's not vicious really,it's owner just need's to show the cat it's proper place in the Pride that's all.When he/she get's out of line all they need to do is give it a tap on the nose and it will stop what it's doing.I had to do that with my cat,he wouldn't stop biting! Now that he knows i'm "Alpha in this Pride",he doesn't bite any more.
