If this is the way you question any other interviewee then you may consider changing that way in general..

the complaints are not about special treatment for a disabled person.
Any journalist should try to stay objective when he/she presents the news or interviews people. And in this particular interview he was clearly trying to create a negative image of the student while trying to defend the police action. He repeatedly tries to trap the student with certain questions. Fortunately the student was clever enough to avoid them..
