is home birth scary?

Having a hospital birth is scary. The more interventions, the more likely a woman will wind up with a c-section and hospitals are full of unnecessary interventions. Don't get me wrong, not every women should have a home birth but healthy women with no complications would be better off having a home birth. Other countries that have midwives as the primary care providers have lower c-section rates and lower mother/baby deaths.

You know, I would like to try a home birth, regardless what my doctor told my mother after I was born. The doctor told her how I was... I can't think of the word, so let me just say "structured", and that it's possible that I wouldn't have children naturally in the future. Mind you, that was in the late 70s, so it's possible that it doesn't apply anymore. I really don't know. *shrugs*

I would find local homebirth midwives in your area and talk to them and get their opinion. Best of luck to you!

OMG! your video just brought tears of joy in my eyes. Right now I am 5 months pregnant and I already want to hald my baby in my arms.

He will be 15 months April 24th and I so have the baby bug again but daddy doesn't, YET, LOL.
