I'm 54 years old. Live in Oregon. But grew up in Huntsville Alabama. I was in a tiny remote store in Madras servicing a Lotto machine and I picked this book off the shelf. I was just swept away. I left with in hand, stopped at a rest stop and read it that day. It is still my fav book of all time and it's magic! To the idiot trying to ban it...I pray for your tiny mind. Go Robert Go!!!

Such a shame that a humble creative artist like Robert McCammon has to cowtow to a bunch of brain dead government workers who've never contributed anything to the private market in their entire life. What a disgraceful society.

A beautiful and amazing book. Banning it is like banning summer and sunshine. Open your eyes and grow up people. We want our kids to be widely read.

I loved "Boy's Life" and wouldn't want to take it away from anyone who wanted to read it whether they were a child, adolescent or adult.
Miss Sandra Nicholson needs to get her head out of her ass and actually READ a book before discrediting it due to one or two profanities.

I just found this author via SwanSong. Already ordered Stinger and Boy's Life. I love the voice he uses in his books. A really great author. It's kinda hard to track down his stuff. I'm happy I understand English!!
