  • When I was in graduate school, I met a Korean guy who studied this style but he specialised in the short stick. This style very rare, you cannot find many authentic teachers in the United States.

  • @Haseeb2 Your comment about not being able to find authentic teachers in US is incorrect. The founder of the art Dr. Joo Bang Lee immigrated to the US in 1972 and Hwa Rang Do has taken firm root in the US with it's world HQ in Tustin, CA. Most all qualified instructors of HRD are now in the US. Unfortunately, since Dr. Lee relocated to the US, HRD is almost non-existent in Korea. One day we hope to replant HRD in it's motherland.

  • @WCHwaRangDo That is good to know, but I guess also bad that he didn't have many desciples in Korea.

  • @Haseeb2 He had many instructors but when he left he the person he placed in charge did not manage them properly and many of them went to other organizations. Please take a look at this video on youtube.

agreed..but one knick with a knife thats sharp...you'll feel it. it'll give the defender time to either run or attack again...
