Audio Guide to Walt Disney World Video Preview - Liberty Square

"Past this gateway stirs a new nation waiting to be born. Thirteen separate colonies have banded together to declare their independence from the bonds of tyranny. It is a time when silversmiths put away their tools and march to the drums of a revolution, a time when gentlemen planters leave their farms to become generals, a time when tradesmen leave the safety of home to become heroes. Welcome to Liberty Square"

In this video, Lou Mongello gives you a preview of the latest in his Audio Guide to Walt Disney World CD and download series - Liberty Square.

It is your guided walking tour of the history, trivia, hidden treasures and overlooked details of Liberty Square. Unique to Walt Disney World, it represents the fulfillment of one of Walt Disney's personal dreams to let guests interactively experience the significance of American history and folklore. It is a land that is a land that is less about fantasy and more about reality, and is replete with details and significance in design and architecture.

In this series of audio guides, author and award-wining podcaster Lou Mongello will take you on a tour of the Walt Disney World Resort. This series will begin with each of the lands of the Magic Kingdom, and continue on to Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom and more.

Listen anytime to get that feeling of "being there‚" as we explore the parks in depth to help you plan your next magical vacation. You can also take the guide with you to the parks in order to enhance your experience. For those listeners that are visually impaired, you can experience Walt Disney World virtually at home, or take the tour along when you visit the parks, as Lou describes your surroundings in detail.

  • Great job! I love your audio guides, but, honestly, I can't wait till you start releasing your VIDEO guides... hehehe Maybe soon??

  • @mons3011 Thanks Mons... Glad you like the Guides! I know many people have been asking for video Guides, and it's something I'm considering. Lots of projects in the works right now! ;)

  • Lou, great job on the video. Nice to see you filmed the tombstones that have no since been taken away :-( haha. Hopefully they'll return as they are a great tribute to those who can figure it out. The audioguide was GREAT to this too!!! Looking forward to Tomorrowland eventually lol.

  • @mikemacjunkie1 Yes, in fact there have been a few changes to Liberty Square since the Guide and video came out. Curious to see what the new Mansion queue will look like

  • Love his parting words..."See ya!" LMAO!

  • MEDIEVAL EUROPE?!?!?! WTF are you talking about? The first colonists from England landed in Virginia in 1607! The Medieval period ended centuries before that!

  • Lou Mongello....I suppose your ancestors weren't here during the Revolutionary War, were they, lol... Maybe you should be in NYC giving tours of Little Italy! The Godfather walking tour :-)

  • I read about what the brown-ish pavement symbolizes.... yea......

  • I watched your video... entertaining! Listen, everything we do... we believe in challenging the status quo... in thinking differently, very differently..

The way we challenge the status quo... is by making a product so beautifully designed, so simple to use and all about you. Care to see it?

  • @WillyM79 who doesn't

  • @WDWRadio oh yea. I'm very curious to see what it'll look like after that short outdoor refurb. All this haunted mansion stuff makes me think, i should start planning out my halloween thing outside. I'll play the HM soundtrack again :-)

  • @glenny1968 Thanks Glenny!!
