I remember when I was 12 reading the article in the news paper and seeing it on the news. I just could never believe what happened. Someone like Matthew didn't deserve to die, although I do believe that he did't die for nothing.

matthew shepard's story has opened my eyes to the pure hate that we are faced with everyday here in america. i wish i could have met matthew.. he seemed like someone i could talk with-- we have more in common than i thought. one day we will all be equal- gays lesbians straights bi sexuals transgenderes or WHOEVER you are-- one day we will all be equal. when that day comes; matt shepard will be smiling down on us from heaven. an angel of earth desended into the clouds october 12, 1998 RIP matthew
