that drummer showed me how to slide like james brown and the way he played cymbals shit real smooth he use to play with ac reed i believe dont know where that brother went to buddy was about 50 years old ther looks young hey i might start drinking cognac again anyway i remember wanting to look young like him when im fifity im close feel like im 100 sometimes 85 whatever that feels like car accident look old too shit i dont even have money or a band or my health

this is when i knew buddy guy and would call him on the phone and he would tell me it dont come over night anyway when they would come to town i was happy as could be but i have no money now and i havent spoken to him or any of these cats for twenty years shit maybe i should have never hung out with them alot of people got jealous because iwas hanging out in chicago with these cats and playing music but i was from canada and buddy said do it like stevie anyway canada learnt from me and im broke
