  • Hi. I'm in Manchester, England. I have this song by Big Bill Broonzy recorded in Chicago in 1956. I am a devotee of Blues and Gospel since the 1960s. I sang the same song about 20 years ago in a West Indian Seventh Day Evangalist church in Levenshulme, Manchester. I was a cop at the time and had been asked to attend the church by the Reverend who was reporting criminal damage to the building. I opened a few hearts at the time. I am a musician and still sing the song. Thank you.

  • Excellent!

  • This is beautiful. I have a solo on this song in my Chorus at school.

  • Hi. Im in Manchester, England. I am a Blues and Gospel devotee. Thank you for your rendition. I have it on a 1956 LP by Big Bill Broonzy. I sing this song myself from time to time with guitar but sometimes better without. Cheers, oh, and God Bless!
