I remember my children were little when we saw the Tiki Room show first time

and we all loved it so much we returned to Magic Kingdom extra days to enjoy

it and Splash Mountain again and again.

Then we made our twice-yearly visit to Disney World in 1997 and were

HORRIFIED at how they RUINED the wonderful Tiki Room! We immediately

began to write and call the Disney people telling them what a disaster had

been made of the show and strongly requested it be put back to original.

Now its back!

I'd like to note that this is actually the original idea that was hatched for the tiki room. They altered it THEN. If anything they are bringing it back to what Walt wanted in the first place.

@Danielfrecklefoot Was it a disaster? In retrospect it was annoying, obnoxious, and over-the-top (kind of like Gilbert Gottfried). But for a 6-year-old who has seen Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and Lion King a million times, it's not all bad. And Jerry Orbach's Pierre will be missed. Besides, the fate of Iago proves that there is still a bit of magic in Walt Disney World, even if it took 15 years for Ahoa to exact her vengeance.

Yes the original is better but this show wasn't bad either. I grew up with this version so it's kind of sad to see it go. I always enjoyed seeing two characters from different movies interacting with each other. However I now can enjoy the original too just as much as I enjoyed this one.

THIS SHOW IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sooooooooooooooo sad they changed it =( idky they did that!! i was so dissappointed!! i mean ill always love the tiki birds but this video right here was the best.
