everyone has to start somewhere... I have seen converts who know way more than your average Muslim so do not put people down! Allah knows the hearts! Subhanallah at least someone is defending us publicly WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR ISLAM? I ASK MYSELF I TRY WITH EVEN THE ONE AYAT THAT I KNOW, Whatever I learn I try to share, think that is what Allah wants us to do!

onemuslimvoice, exelent response sister. And by the way, j40505, Sheikh Hamza Yusuf studied Islam more than just for 10 years. He studied for 10 years outside of his country. He reverted to Islam when he was 18 and since then he has been studying Islam.

I'm hooked onto his videos! I've learnt so much from his teachings!

I wish to study Islam too and be able to speak like him in giving dawah and uplifting the ummah...

I second your notion, I also agree with 99% of what he says but you're right he went a bit far with the extreme contrast in video 5/6 lol. I guess we can cut him that slack because we are human :-) he is a very great man for Islam. Salaam!

I would like you to know that I've said far more stupid things so many times in my life and if my reply in anyway implied tht I'm free from making mistakes then I ask forgiveness to Allah and to you.
