IGN says:

"Known to gamers only through a concept demo at Space World 2000, this unreleased chapter in the Legend of Zelda franchise was a work-in-progress technical demo for Nintendo to promote the GameCube platform. In the demonstration, a realistically-modeled Link and and his nemesis Ganondorf battle with swords in a gothic castle setting. While a stunning demo, Nintendo decided to scrap the visual style, setting and character models used in the demo and go with an entirely different concept for the real first GameCube entry in the series, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker."

  • I loved all the Zelda games :)

I wish Nintendo could be cool and put combo attacks :(

and the enemies were smarter :l and more endurant :l

  • @JonnyJinx04 And when you consider that gameplay is what mattters most... damn I wasted my money on that shit.

  • WW looks better in hindsight, this looks like arsepiss now but WW aint half bad even though I dont like the game much itself.

  • @dadatsointsoin Technology demo...

  • Wind Waker's still my favorite Zelda game.

  • Wind Waker was dreadfully boring compared to most Zelda games. Other than that, it was pretty good.

  • @dawgfacesoldier I can appreciate that. That's why I got a Wii back in the day over the XBox and PS3. I cared more about games than graphics.

At the same time, I'm starting to get tired of the Zelda games. I know they're all more or less the same game, but the sameness is sort of wearing thin on me.

  • @organs But you gottta think that GCN Zelda game would of been crap now. I loved the Wind Waker because it was something that would last. The atmosphere of that game, if you got over the "kid looking" aspect it was a very enjoyable game. They didnt try to max out the graphics on the gamecube right off the bat in reture they got a game that is still 100% playable today almost 10 years later

  • This seems like it'd be a good graphic style for the more.....teen-oriented Zelda games. The style used for Wind Waker seemed better suited for the kid-friendly ones.

Not that you have to be a kid or teen to play these games, but Wind Waker was more Dora the Explorer and Twilight Princess was more like the movie Willow. Kinda, sorta, I dunno...

  • @boomstick545 i could never say that, sail completely sucks for me, I got me so bored that i didnt ended the game not because it was hard but because I rather do something even boring that do that
