This is a solo that I played my senior year of high school. It is written for a piano accompaniment, but this recording was done for the purposes of college auditions, and as such, there is no accompanist. It was originally written for violin and I suggest that you watch Joshua Bell's music video of it here on youtube for the full effect of the piece.

Great musicality. I really liked the romantic section and great job of continuity in the octave switch. I know that people don't care for YouTube criticism, but besides a few missed notes (and I know this is common, I've competed a couple of times with this) the only thing I would say is that you are sticking to a jazz idiom in that the higher notes and the end of the line are always louder. Switch it up. And hammer that low roll after the cadenza and then fade it. Feel free to write back with
