So this is update video after adding driftwood with riccia top, This riccia was in tank for barely 40 days, this is how much i got growing it in tank from 2 inch by 3 inch patch which i floated.

The Killies use the driftwood and chase tunnel now. they absolutely love going under it to hide and chase. At night the use the riccia as sleeping lawn and hover on it to sleep.

I am still thinking of carpetting right side which is bare.

  • man your good at arranging the tank and your plants are so rich and very green looking with that wood coverd with plants makes it all look natural

hehe , Thanks for the compliment,

you know the riccia specially is so bright glowing green, my dad asked me "so why did you put green plastic mesh on the wood? " I had to tell him, nothing in this tank is plastic, that is real green grass on wood.

Riccia here is my fav, at night when i turn off tank lights and there is just moon light in my room (9watt cfl for entire room), the riccia reflects green light around it, like small glow (not florescent glow) .
