Microsofts Ban-Hammer Justified or Not?

I was on the good old internet today when I came across an interesting article about how MS still delivers the trusty Ban-Hammer. What made this so interesting is that the writer went on about how MS provided NO reason for why the account was banned. Now I have heard over the years that this has happened but I want to know what you think of the situation and if you have been a victom of a non-justified Ban-Hammer.

Do you normally comment on things you know nothing about? You come across as a typical Sony fanboy that just found something super awesome to bitch at Microsoft about. I can guarantee you that most people that have been banned know EXACTLY why they have been banned and are just throwing a hissy fit because they screwed up and now have to face the repercussions. I will agree that an explanation needs to be given, but how do you really think those phone calls will go? I'm sure every1 is innocent

@hilliat no, you didn't attack MS at all, you just mentioned RROD and how you don't think anyone should have to pay for online (while making faces about both), neither of which are remotely relevant to the topic you are trying to discuss. How could I have possibly come to that conclusion? I sound like someone who calls a spade a spade. I own both consoles. I could care less about this vs that. 1st if it was Sony and a YLOD I would do the same...I find the RROD sad and funny so theres your funny face. 2nd paying to play the second portion of your games is wrong which I have made clear and again if it was Sony I would say the same thing. 3rd which poster are you talking about...none SAY SONY. You also jump to conclusions based on postors of games...you Pro Sony arguement might tread water if I had SONY poster in the back...but I don't lol. Just watched my vid again I'm guessing your talking about the Infamous poster or the DCUO poster neither of which have some big lable that says SONY. I like the games and nothing more...don't read too much into things. Would it make you happier if I bought a Gears of War poster...I love that franchise and it's the only real reason I'm buying a 360. It's pretty clear your pro MS which is fine to each his own...I'm more how do say pro games so which ever has games that I like

will get the bulk of my attention but if all my favorite titles were on the 360 then I would still love those games as much it has nothing to do with the brand. Too many people get defensive and read too much into things without asking...aka make assumptions without actually knowing.

I certainly wouldn't tell someone how to decorate their room, but if I made a video slamming Call Of Duty and you saw the pretty epic Battlefield decore I had going on in my office, people would have the same reaction I am having now. It is what it is dude. When I watched your video, that is exactly what I saw: a dude with an Infamous poster bitching about Microsoft.

@hilliat guy, I own a PS3 and an XBOX. The whole us vs them attitude is everything I hate about the "gaming industry." Please don't lecture me on being in the "media." I have no doubt I have been doing it longer than you. Everything about your video, from the presentation, to what you said and how you said it screams Sony fanboy. You make it very clear in this video you are very pro-Sony, right down to the poster in the background. If you want to talk about being in the media and knowing what is what, you should understand the message that sends. Good luck to you. It is what it is.
