man, this sounds exactly the same thing as the Scarborough RT at East Toronto.

That is because the original Vancouver cars were built by the same company that built the Toronto cars, as well as the Detroit People Mover.

That's the standard behaviour SkyTrain exhibits when it detects that a door hasn't closed completely. It sounds the chime again, reopens and closes, until all the doors close.

The other incident with the open door was a failure, but this is just the way it's supposed to work.

This happens every morning & afternoon, cuz some people hold the door or get stuck then eventually all the other doors re open. lol

@subwaymark its not the doors problem... i was on one of the mark i trainsets today and the doors was caused by a bad driver who hits the door button too many times because there is no door camera only cameras on the front and back so the driver can c where he/she is going
