Have you heard of punctuation? My argument didn't fail because I don't make one unless there is a point to it. The point is, Larry Hama's comic storyline is canon, yet it hasn't seen the light of day outside of the comics. Fans deserve to have at least one film or TV adaptation that is close to the source material and has nothing to do with those silly cartoons, which are just as silly as the 60's Batman TV series. And Frank Miller already revolutionized the franchise in the 80's.

really i thought this was over your batman argument failed simply because you can do a silly adam west film or a darknight film it doesn't matter bats has a long history and no interpertation is any better than the last they have merits and stand on they're own legs i'm glad darknight was made but it's caused to many problems in the genre and bats franchise itself i could live without it.

The cartoon didn't keep up with the GI JOE comics because it was a stupid 80's cartoon. Did you know that the only reason Duke was created for the cartoon was because Hasbro disliked Hawk's codename because of its "political implications" and thought the Snake Eyes/Scarlett romance was "too complicated"? Would you make a Batman movie today that was more in keeping with the silly Adam West TV series from the 60's? "The Dark Knight" would never have been made if that was the case.
