Animatronic Moth Wings Test

This is a collaboration for an animated / animatronic rig for a pair of moth wings made by Artsquish! @ artsquish.deviantart.com

She originally made the wings to be articulated by moving her arms. I made the current rig that articulates the wings WITHOUT having to move your arms.

My camera picks up a lot of sound, which is why you can hear the train in the background, but the servo motors are actually fairly quiet.

This was just a dry test to see how the wings would move and behave.
I'll post another video when the costume is complete and ready to go!

@HotChocolate200 Making a tutorial is something that I don't have time for at the moment. Getting my degree comes first! =P

Perhaps later on down the road? Movement systems and animatronics can be tough for some people to wrap their heads around, so I can't just give away the answers on how to do it. True innovation is done yourself!!

Its possible that I'll be taking commissions in a few months, however. Stay tuned if you'd be interested in one!
