  • Thank you for your story here. Very interesting to learn of this organization. You mention your father's "degree work", could you expound upon these works please. thanks

  • @gjsterp No you don't have to be a Christian to join the Odd Fellows, however one of our requirements is you must believe in a supreme being. We do have many Christian overtones in our rituals, but if you take what we have and just look at it out of any religious context it's stuff that is what human decency is made of.

  • @ODDFELLOWS67 Odd fellowship is growing again in many areas. TO those areas who are not growing, you have to. FLT

  • I had recently finished my 3rd degree in the Odd Fellows Lodge. Will be taking my last one in a couple of weeks or so.

  • the brothers .the lodge....the temple....we really need to activate accordingly and allow this great orginazation to grow deeper and bigger than it has ever been. wyatt earp was an odd fellow. we need organization to get a really big move to get this organised.

  • I'm now living in western Kentucky, where there are few(if any) Odd Fellows Lodges. I'm an active supporter of the local Mason lodge.

  • @1Indianadude then why not join the Independent Order of Odd Fellows?

  • I am an Odd Fellow. And always proud of my membership.

  • I'm a 40 year old Freemason. My grandmother had belonged to the Rebeccah's for many years. The Odd Fellows Lodge is a very good fraternal group to belong to.

  • It is great to hear Christians actually acting as Christians, and putting their beliefs into their acts.

But do you actually have to be Christian to act as one? No.

I helped a neighbor paint his house the last two days. I also supplied the paint sprayer.

    I am an agnostic.
