  • I'm not even telling people not to get it, just letting them know there are compatibility issues with recent EVGA motherboards in general. I know because I went through it and it was frustrating as balls.

It's an RMA risk, so just be warned that's all I'm saying. Oh, and maybe someone else cares about the UD7 board even if you don't, right ;)

  • @mhaneline

I dont care about the Gigabye. Why I don't get is you saying don't get this board when you cant even get it. It was a limited production board. The 141-BL-E760-A1 is what you should tell people not to get.

  • I have 2x MCP655 pumps, 2x MCR320 rads, apogee GTZ block on two 1/2" loops cooling my cpu, nb, sb, and 2x BFG gtx 295 h2oc

    shit is beast.

  • @mhaneline

pumps yes, block for the i7 currently yes, rad no

    The best rad is

    RX360 budget

    gtx360 the best

  • Look dude, before you even begin to bash Swiftech, go check out each component in the kit.

    #1 best pump period.

    #1 best radiator period.

top 3 blocks, and in my testing, the best.

and well.. the reservoir doesn't really matter.

You don't need to get all over me because I think the Gigabyte UD7 is a better board man, come on.

  • @mhaneline

    ok I have one

hk 3.0, feser 360, mcp655pump, bitspowertop, Ek spin res

  • @mhaneline

Custom W/C is and ways will give you better temps then a kit period. If you paid 240 for it for you could of made a custom loop for that much

  • I have two loops bud.

  • @mhaneline

Water cooling the cpu yes, water cooling the chipset(n/b,s/b) is a complete waste and adds unnecessary heat and restriction to the w/c loop

  • Ram incompatibilities and power supply incompatibilities. Boards DOA (my first one was, I had to swap it), and overheating issues.

Anyway, my original point was to let people know that the Gigabyte UD7 is an overall better board, especially if you watercool and do extreme overclocking. It's built better, and since it's a 333 board, it's simply faster than non-333 boards.

    Check it out.
