This is the first trailer for the Save Libertyland Documentary started five years ago by Tom Foster, an original pre-co-founder of the SAVE LIBERTYLAND grass roots effort to save our neighborhood park and rides from destruction by City Hall and their coporate suited friends and cronies. This is the first weekly ten minute installment. This is also the first major length community service documentary by Tom Foster's backyard Midtown neighborhood TV "Station", which up to now has celebrated original Memphis music by local musicians neglected by the cultural cabal of taxpayer and state city funded organizations suffocating our regional cultural heritage by bureaucratic blundering. The examples on youtube are (search): Art Angel Pam, Watson Davis Memorial Art Show, the Third Annual Sivad Tribute Show WDRTV , Liberty Horse Tom Foster and Hope Clayburn WDRT;. Mr. Foster has been a courtroom artist since 1980 for CBS, NBC, and most recently CNN in the Kennet Missouri Wal-Mart line breaking trial and is the only American artist to have Memphis related artwork in award winning films at Sundance and Tribeca in the same year. Born in Midtown, he has fought to save Midtown parks since the I-40 Overton Park battle 40 years ago and continues this tradition of volunteer community service completely with NO tax dollars, grant money, or financial help whatsoever to this date, especially the Memphis Film Commission. These videos are seen on every continent and have doubled and tripled in the number of views in the last fornight. He also has a son that he is extremely proud of who was raised in Midtown and now represents American culture in an official capacity abroad. World Boogie IS coming! Stay the course!! Watch WDRTV!
