Ken's too good. I really only like to use him if I really have to (arcade version). And he gets enough face-time, so I thought it was time for Viewtiful Joe to shine.

Freaking close match got me nervous there. All the videos were rather satisfying to see as well haha it was interesting to see you use Viewtiful Joe this time.

(continued) Good: shorter than many characters, so some combos don't work on him, nearly takes average damage.

Bad: somewhat weak combo damage, short attack radius drops some combos, assist isn't all that useful (except for making your opponent go on the defensive), not really good as a beginner's character, no useful anti-air attack.

Overall, V.Joe is a solid, but underrated character. He's definitely not your average Joe, but you'll need to play around and get creative to use him effectively.

Good: projectiles go in several different directions at normal speed forward, down, up, backward, can be held down for round trips. Can play runaway with Red Hot Kicks. Good pressure, j.B and j.C are very good close-to-ground crossups. Fast jabs. Has a 2C slide. 6B is an overhead that can be combo directly into 623+2 attacks super or after baroque. Lvl.3 super does decent damage, easy to combo into, runs down the clock. 623+2 attacks super easy to combo into an can take the fight into corner.

1:26-1:29: I don't know how I got away with this win seeing that I was at a major disadvantage from the beginning, but this was so satisfying.
