okay so can you make a beat that plays in two measures instead of just one?
&
can you lock a beat to a certain tempo so it is always at that tempo? (i mean if i wanted to change to the next beat while im playing, but i want the next beat to play at a slower tempo, can i set it to do that? because i dont know how to. when i change to the next beat i made it will still be in the same tempo as the first, which is fine. but if i wanted to keep a beat at like 090bpm at all times, how can i dothat

@bubmaterial well i never do very much with the R8 i only use it as an soundmodule via midi.
So i'me sorry but i can't answer your question, the editing and sequensing is harder then on an electribe. i mostly use the korg er mk2 to sequense my drummachines.
