  • hi! fantastic video... i have a question...the original gap of the spark plug is 1.1 mm did you set the gap before installation? i know that the specifications about gap of the yaris 1.3 2sz-fe is 0,8 mm

  • I first ran with the original 1.1 gap. Some time later I got them out to setup for the correct 0.8mm gap. It's running great!!

  • thanks!! i'll take the plugs this week....why did you chose the iridium tough and not the iridium power?

  • At least here in Portugal, those plugs are available from any Toyota dealer. Plus, this version is much more durable then the Iridium power, which, if you look closely in the data from denso, only last for 25.000, 30.000 KM!!!! The tough model goes all the way to 90.000 km ;)

  • plus, as you get them in, give time for the ECU to manage the spark. It took me some time till the results you see in this video!!

  • what do u mean give time for the ecu?i own a yaris too and after watching this video i m thinking of put these sparks..

  • The ecu is able to adjust the engine work for it self, matching all it's values to maximize its efficience. It does it about the quality of the gas, sparks, intake air temperature, etc..........

  • um.. the faster car has 1/4 tank of a fuel and the slower one has a full tank.... Everyone is retarded.... obviously the heavier car is going to be slower with an engine that small.

  • Hi! Nive vid. I want to know something. Can i use the original cables with iridium spark plug? Or it's necessary change for new ones, proper for iridium spark plug?

    Thanks!!

  • For a spark plug the difference is massive! Especially on NA car.

  • EVERYONE... If you own a vehicle with ECM... Disconnect the battery for 15 mins. This will default the ECM to factory (new like) settings. It will give you the BEST igintion modification results...

  • @rkjer good observation, I didn't even notice that.

  • thnx man...
