  • have you had any negative results to the motor or its performance due to this modification? i was told that you had to have the baffles for the right back pressure, and that because it is carbureted, without them, you can burn up your valves..... PLEASE i need to know, because i would like to do this mod, but don't want to damage my motor. this is my first bike. 2003 v star 1100 custom.

  • Did this same process to my 06' 650. Videos just don't do justice to how the exhaust sounds. Do give this mod a try before you go throwing down 300+ bucks on aftermarket exhaust.

  • Hey, off the subject. But what kind of saddle bags are those? Very nice.

  • Looks like the mod I made on my 08....You have to take a big long drill bit welded onto a rod. Take the exhaust off, drill from the front to the back straight through with as big a bit as you can , then you take a big piece of rebar and hammer it all the way through. the you cut out the back carefully around the edge. Pull the little leftover pieces of routing pipe out. After you do all that it's still too quiet so you get some straight pipe and bolt it on instead for about 60 bucks

  • i have same bike 2007, what are baffles. My exhust sounds like shit. What are baffles. plz reply
