Magnavox TB110MW9 DTV digital to analog converter
Cost $50 dollars. 10 dollars with $40 dollar coupon. doesn't have any funtional buttons on the box. you have to use the converter box remote control to change the channel, then if you want to raise or lower the volume you use your old remote. (the one for the tv). the picture comes in really good. but they want people to spend 50 dollars on one of these. thats ridicolus. i garentee in 2 years they will be like 5 dollars each. and half the size. just like ps2 and ps2 slim. what will come after HDTV? HDTV will be obsilite in about 10 years. when 3-d hologram will come out. and good virtual reality

this piece of shI' remote has been bad since day one. I have installed 2 micro switches hard wired to the damn thing just to change channels and now even that wont work. F'k The stupid tuner does not even have simple up down channel buttons on the box. Idiots!!!

The two remote thing actually doesn't bother me much, never has. I have no problem switching between a bunch of different remotes (weird I know). My problem is with the fact there there's no 'ON' button on the damn box. We lost the remote, now the box is useless, and I pretty much can only use the tv to watch dvds, now.

DO NOT BUY. This is the worst converter box. get any other one. Need follow up vid. on programming. Destructions say push next when you SHOULD PUSH OK. this info is no where on the web. I programmed my dad's the instructions are incorrect.

why dont u use a universal remote control for the converter box
