i used to love the Mighty Ducks when I was younger! I still have a jersey, and it fits too!

Holy crap, I had completely forgotten about this show. I used to think that ship of theirs was the coolest thing ever.
Yeah, it was a shameless money-grab by Disney, but 10 year olds don't care about that XD

This really confused me as a kid. When I finally saw the movie, I was wondering where the lasers, spaceships, and anthropomorphic ducks were.
What a weird idea for a show. This is like if there was a tv show called "The Godfather" and they used all the same music and branding of the movie, but made a plot revolving around a dad who gains divine powers with no mention of the mafia or anything.
