Haha I love it when that happens. After I steam clean my engine I can see smoke coming out of the scoop, looks like the car's either having a smoke or is really angry about something, lol.
Also works really well in cold temperatures and if you've been going for a run.Use your I/C water spray and watch a puff of smoke come from the scoop!
