the short story of my dewalt reciprocating saw

This video is in no way intended to be slanderous toward Dewalt or their repair center. I still own and use Dewalt tools regularly and wouldn't think twice about purchasing more. The point is: I was able to re-assemble my saw and have it work when the repair center told me the cost of repair parts alone would exceed the price of a new saw. All it took was a few drops oil in the right place.

Better Business Bureau. Since they should have handed it back in one piece. If it was so, much work to reassemble, they should have charged diagnostics up front in the first place.

@CrewRite My employer does regular business with the shop in question so I don't want to make too much of a scene. And I'm not out any money. If they took money and handed me a box of parts it'd be a whole different story and you bet I'd file a complaint.

That's how hard a shop is trying to look for some cash. They would cheat customers. It happens so many in a developed countries who think civilians has no more knowledge about repairing. That's a very sad story. But you're challenging enough to save it.
