  • hi sir john, in the second example, "by the time he turns on his computer SHE will have worked for 45minutes" meaning 2 persons are there in the sentence? she and he??

  • @chloeey The perfect tense requires two things to happen, one before the other. So, yes, there are two people. But, you can also say, "by the time it stops raining, the bridge will have been damaged." Two actions are needed in any perfect tense sentence.

  • OMG, johannortega, you are so right. Thank you so much for showing me this typo. Sometimes I get nervous when making the lessons, especially the earlier lessons.

Yes, the correct spelling is: COMPUTER.

I am the "Typo King" in my day job, too. Sorry!!!

  • @karlicoss Both are correct. Depending on what you want to emphasize! If you use "been working", it won't be future perfect Simple any longer. But "Future perfect continuos".

  • Thank You Very Much!

  • Thank u,it was helpful

  • @chloeey

Stop asking such dumb question again

  • Wouldn't "she will have been working for 45 minutes" be more correct?

  • Thank you, John!!!

  • Computer?

  • I couldn't find in my dictionary the word "comupter"???
