  • do you use the hamstring instead of the patella?

  • I use a variety of different grafts depending on the patient: hamstring, patellar tendon and allografts

  • new procedure? all through a scope? wow. who doesnt do that now a days

  • Most surgeons DON'T. Most DO perform and arthroscopically assisted procedure in which an incision is made over the tibia and a 8-12mm diameter tunnel is drilled through the tibia into the joint.

The ALL-Inside surgery I perform is very different. By the way there are other surgeons around the country that perform the same procedure but it is still a minority.

  • How do you control fixation on the tibial side. do you think a compromise occurs when passing the tibial screw in flexion.

  • Does anyone think I'll need this surgery? About a month ago at soccer practice a girl fell on me and weighed as much as me, and I fell and my knee bent behind my leg as I fell and our combined weight of around 300 LBS crunched my knee. I can walk normally for the most part and skateboard some what. I haven't been to the doctors but I also haven't been running since then. I no longer feel any pain just some occasional nerve spasms in my knee. Do you think I'll need to get surgery? Thanks.

  • hey doc is that new cutting edge treatment available nationwide now?

  • Can you tell me what doctors perform this new procedure in the NYC area?

Is this procedure done with an autograph tendon?
