I have a previous video of indian runner ducklings in the bath tub. Those ended up having babies this year, and these were two eggs that were just starting to hatch (one had a tiny hole in the shell and the other you could tell was about to make a tiny hole). The mom duck kicked the two eggs out of the nest after hatching out 9 babies. I was going to put them back in the nest but when i touched them, they were soooo cold. I didn't have any means of incubating them, and I know you aren't supposed to help ducklings hatch out but I felt they would die if i didn't seeing as they were so chilled.
So it took a little over 3 hours to get both ducklings out of their shells, i had them under layers of clothing with myself sat in front of a space heater to try to warm them up. I sent a text to my fiance to buy the brooder lamp so they could be properly warmed and be raised inside. These ducklings think they're people now it seems. They have been the nicest and sweetest ducklings I've ever raised, hands down. I can see now why the only way to get a proper pet duck is to have you be the only one around when they hatch so they imprint on you. The difference in temperament is night and day!
I hatched these ducks the night of may 5th which was a good 4 days after the 9 other ducklings were hatched out by the momma duck. That makes them 13 days old today and in this vid. I'm going to upload some vids of these two when they were 3 days old, WAY CUTE!
they look pretty big 4 13 days old. maybe the camera is just really close? wait u fed the dry food? u should have wet the food for them so it was like porridge, easier for the little guys.

@CuppaTeags the camera was close. also their water was right next to the food. they ate the food and drank water to wash it down. ducks do just fine eating dry food if they have access to water while they eat ;)
