Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. I'm planning a trip but don't know much about which course to play or where to stay. Any advice?

@PinehurstGolfer, I highly recommend you stay at Bandon the resort itself (so many different lodging options, I'd just go with what fits your budget).
All 4 courses are phenomenal. A lot of folks are not as crazy about the Trails course although I thought it was a refreshing change and scenic and a lot of shot values there as well. You just need to get out there! Remember that replay rounds are half price. Definitely take caddies for all rounds.
