On the streets, in the Halls of Congress, in front of the U.S. Supreme Court, at the gates of the White House itself, and elsewhere, activists have opposed the Bush-Cheney Gang's illegal and immoral war in Iraq, as well as the torture of detainees at Abu Ghraib and Gitmo. This video, which features 90 photos, represents only a handful of the thousands of demonstrations that have been held across the country since the Iraqi War was launched on March 20, 2003.

fizziksJunkie, they know what they're talking about. it is you and like-minded others who cannot see. war is no longer necessary. our advanced gov (10 years more than us) can detect any missile or any other attack on this country, we're fine. war is for our gov to make profit off of defense contractors so they could get rich whilste important things to progress as a people are less spent on. "terrorist" attacks are allowed only when they want war, no other time. to make us feel we want it.
Bush was a hell of a lot more educated on the risks and reasons for going into Iraq than you Dumb-Ass antiwar protesters. so shut the fuck up unless you have ANY idea what you are talking about
World Peace does not start when the US stops fighting for others. In fact, if the US did that and decided not to give aid to anyone then we would receive a shocking reaction from all nations worldwide. As a superpower in the world it is our duty to solve conflicts abroad, some may not like it but thats a price to pay for being the strongest nation in the world. May not seem like it should be our duty, but who else would do it if not us? You cant solve anything by isolating our nation. Sorry.
To all anti war protesters... I am a Master At Arms in the United States Navy.. i will head to Iraq next year around may... you tell us that we are horrible and that military does nothing for our country... well those anti war shirts your wearing... we fight so your able to even wear it... the things you say are allowed because we fight for your freedom of speech.. in other countries you'd be in prison or put to death so shut the fuck up!
I do not believe that those who serve are horrible. I believe their leaders are horrible. I understand that sometimes we may HAVE to but from what I see from politics that is the 1st option they choose rather than negotiating in a peaceable way with the opposing force. I will support those brave enough to go to war, however, I refuse to support the ones stupid enough to send you to war. While it is a solution it is not the ONLY solution. It leads to the, sometimes, unneccesary loss of lives, :(
You know what I'm tired of that BULLSHIT cop-out excuse... Iraq never did and never will have any impact on my freedom of speech and fighting the middle east serves me in NO WAY...
We're not the least bit safer (although i never felt threatened to begin with) and more people have died overseas than during the attack of 2001....
"This you can do it bc i fight for you" is an excuse and non-sense, I can do it bc it's my right, and u fight bc u were 2 dumb not to enlist during war time...
The funny fucking thing is that you anti war fuck's are protesting and talking down to the people that make so that you can protest. you people are fuck nut's. go swim back home.
god i cant believe some people you only get to wear anti war shirts and hold sighns cause were over there fighting for you rights!! and if you assholes r gonna stand on american flags and stomp on them good do it in iraq do it anywere but here!! its so disrespectful to the people that r saving you life you wouldnt be able to imagine what you would see if we didnt have those brave men and women in iraq fighting for oyu when you dont even deserve it!!! so go to england on sumwere and protest !!!!!
