Todd Fedoruk chases Boogy down the ice and starts the fight, and Boogy ends it fast.

Boogaard had 2 fights in this game, but the first one was kind of shitty since O'Brien looked like he was trying to dive during the fight, after O'Brien was the one who started it.

Here's the Hockeyfights.com recap of the fight:
Fedoruk drops a glove and grabs Boogaard by the back of his jersey in retaliation for an earlier hit. Boogaard skates away and Fedoruk runs into him against the boards after the whistle. They drop the gloves and the two exchange right hands. Boogaard connects with a right cross and a jersey-jab and Fedoruk stumbles backwards. Fedoruk loses his grip on Boogaard's jersey and Boogaard takes advantage, connecting with a hard right that sends Fedoruk falling to the ice. Fedoruk stays on the ice holding his right eye for a moment and skates back to the dressing room. Boogaard is escorted to the penalty box and waves to the crowd. Other Penalties: Fedoruk received an instigator, holding and misconduct.

  • RIP

  • RIP boogeyman :(

  • RIP

  • The Boogeyman was the most badass fighter in the game. Everyone knew it. RIP.

  • RIP Boogieman :(

  • I believe this merits applause

  • It's amazing that Fedoruk was able to stay conscious after that shot. Jesus what an Iron Jaw!

  • well he was trying to play here... how can you even attempt to argue a point that is clearly wrong?

  • "Boogard just wants to play some hockey" no he doesnt? hes mainly on the ice to fight. he has 1 point in 5 nhl seasons.

  • Interesting note: Fedoruk suffered a broken jaw on this play. Now go watch Fedoruk vs Colton Orr. Colton knocks Toddy out cold.
