@celticlofts so why is did the protestant population of eire decline so rapidly?? ... we in west central scotland can only dream of the same with our irish bedbugs who scream intolerance after accepting our hospitality for the last 150 years and who talk of being irish and victimised but not ready to go home yet ...

@celticlofts well ,lets see, my family who were driven from their farm in donegal in the 20's because they were protestant, the ira attempting to kill them in their own homes, all the protestants in donegal who lost or couldnt get a job in the public services because they couldnt speak gaelic, which is ridiculous as no one speanks gaelic as their sole language anymore

What Southern persecution of the protestant community are you referring to? Can you give me one single instance? Show me a Protestant in the South who by the nature of their religion has, or ever was, denied a vote, job, home or equal treatment, and Ill show you a liar. Your accusations are simply false and Ive called you on it.
