I thought you'd like a look at this original 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS Pace Car Convertible. It is a true numbers matching pace car with the 396 Big-block under the hood. The 396 is backed by a four-speed manual trans and a 3.73 rear end. This classic muscle car underwent a full frame off restoration and looks pristine from any angle. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching.

  • Gorgeous car, my stepdad used to own one of those. I seem to remember the upholstery on his being white leather instead of this orange cloth shown here, though. Will have to ask him.

  • @wy0x Thanks for checking it out! It's cool that he used to have one.

  • Very nice, a 4 speed Rat powered Pacer, It just doesn't get any better!!!!

Thank you for posting the video.

  • @Rarerat It really is a beauty.........thanks for checking it out!

  • nice car, but I question the shifter knob. I do believe it should be a chrome ball with no shift pattern on it. You do not need a pattern on the ball because the pattern is on the console. A lot of people make this restoration mistake. The white and black balls were for a non-console car.

  • @XboobtubeX Thanks for the info, you know a lot more about them than I do. Thanks for watching.

  • Naw thats done right. I restored one at work a small block 4 sp pace car.It was about 6 years ago. no crap so ruff it had dead animals in it. Junk. So bad the guy told me he paid $5,000 for it. It did come with nos quarters and i told him he just bought the quarters. I wouldnt of fixed the car JUNK!! We did. at the end he ran out of money. had to put used bumpers on it, and no crap the old gas tank and etc etc etc.. to me 6 months work on a rotisserie down the drain.

  • @bisquik3006 I wish I would come across one for ya. I'd sure like to get some video on it.

  • I'm still waiting to see a 66 Cyclone Indy 500 Pace Car in person. That would be a good race between these two.

  • @RamblinAround thanks for the info ! i told you i wasn't sure off it.
