Hector Elizondo is one of those rare actors who moves freely between starring roles on stage, television and feature films. Currently starring in Wrong Turn at Lungfish, his other film credits include Princess Diaries I and II, Runaway Bride, The Flamingo Kid, American Gigolo, Tortilla Soup and The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3. His portrayal of a hotel manager in Pretty Woman garnered him a Golden Globe nomination, and he received an Emmy Award for his long-running portrayal of Dr. Phillip Watters on CBS-TV drama Chicago Hope.

A native New Yorker, Elizondo first gained recognition on the New York stage for his portrayal of God in Steambath, which earned him an Obie Award. High praise followed for his Broadway roles in Neil Simon's Prisoner of Second Avenue, The Great White Hope; Sly Fox (for which he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award) and a critically acclaimed Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's The Price.

Elizondo has been recognized many times for the quality of roles he has chosen throughout his career, receiving the Diversity Award's prestigious Integrity Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award of Nosotros. He is an avid supporter of the Alzheimer's Association, Amnesty International, Pediatric AIDS and the Boys and Girls Clubs of East Los Angeles.

In addition to being a talented actor, Elizondo is an accomplished musician and singer, and enjoys performing on the conga and guitar.
