@othmanbmw The 1st part as a whole talks about what "some ppl say" _as in non-muslims, "God left us to our mistakes" which is wrong, "he's never been so far away" which is also SO wrong, & then "how can any father stand" as if he's refuting the christian concept, saying in other words God is not a father!!! I know its not straightforward & yes it was risky 2 put it this way, but If you relate it 2 the 1st part, it makes sense.

@mahmooddr I kept thinking about this "father" thing too & I finally got it!! The 1st part as a whole talks about what "some ppl say" _as in non-muslims, "God left us to our mistakes" which is wrong, "he's never been so far away" which is also SO wrong, & then "how can any father stand" as if he's refuting the christian concept, saying in other words God is not a father!!! I think the reason sami yusuf has made "songs" about ALLAH/God....is to attract the youths now towards their religion as I myself am a teenage muslim and don't really take interest in preechings and naats...as I'm am more used to listening to music....Agha.Yusuf's "songs" have brought me closer to my religion and if I am to listen to music then this is the only kind of music I listen to now as it has a meaning that I can realate to and which is more closer to me....thanks Agha Yusuf :)

Ya3ny just why would you mention something about father having children across lands... This is will raise many conflicts and useless questions.
Sorry but this is Stupid atucally very stupid, I mean I get it... He might have had some other meaning that needs ro be meditated, but not all of us can meditate.
But from another prespective, this is song might NOT be only for Muslims, it might be for Chrestians too. Thus the father, the rhythm and the choarus thingies...
May Allah reward intentions.

I think mister Yusuf just refered to God as a father and us as children in this song, am I wrong?
